QUESTION 1: What was the obstacle that would have prevented you from Making Your App?

Gordon Napier: After coming up with the concept of my App – Direct Action! – I made some investigation into the process involved in making an app and the costs associated with it and was deterred from pursuing because there was a substantial amount of work to be undertaken which is completely alien to my field of expertise and the costs involved were substantial.

QUESTION 2: What did you find as a result of making this App with Digital Hinge??

Gordon Napier: Once the App was completed my first thoughts were, “I can’t wait to make another one!” . The whole design and delivery of the App was streamlined in a way I never would have conceived without the guidance, feedback and project management from Digital Hinge which means my end users have a much more interactive & friendlier experience and a more useful App!

QUESTION 3: What specific feature did you like most about working with Digital Hinge on Your App??

Gordon Napier: Digital Hinge translated my ideas into a working prototype within days of commencing work on the project which meant I could see what aspects were working well and what still needed development. Which in turn gave me the ability to experiment with it and find holes in my initial design.

Digital Hinge did not leave me alone to work on this by myself, on the contrary, Digital Hinge were a major driving force to ensure the finished App not only reflected my original concept but also displayed a professional appearance and functionality.

It was exactly as I had described it to them in my 1st meeting with them – I still remember the 1st time they showed me that 1st working prototype, I was so excited and was so impressed that they had nailed the core functionality so early in the development process.

QUESTION 4: What would be three other benefits about working on your App with Digital Hinge??

Gordon Napier: Making an app, despite my first impressions, is incredibly easy to do, and it can be used in a number of ways to create or enhance you revenue stream. Using Digital Hinge as the facilitators meant I didn’t have to learn an entirely new language and their guidance meant I avoided the pitfalls and could enjoy the benefits of opportunities I never even knew existed.

QUESTION 5: Would you recommend making an App with Digital Hinge? If so, why?

Gordon Napier: After being deterred by the costs and technical challenges I discovered the team at Digital Hinge who took my ideas and put a plan together to show me how they could make the Direct Action! App for less than a quarter of the cost of other companies (which I discovered though my own research).

There was no charge for this proposal and they provided me a complete working specification from a single meeting – I signed the contract right away.
